WHAT IF I HAVEN’T EVER TRIED AN INDOOR CYCLE CLASS?

You don’t even need to know how to ride a bike to come to an indoor cycle class! The resistance knob (the thing that adds the feel of a hill) is located on your bike and you are in complete control of how much or little that you add. The beauty of our studio is that you are the master of your cycling domain! If you are new to indoor cycling, we recommend that you arrive about 15-20 minutes prior to your first class so that one of our InCycle instructors can get you set up on your bike. **Click on Beginners for more information if you are riding for the first time.

I AM CONCERNED THAT I AM NOT PHYSICALLY FIT ENOUGH TO TRY A CLASS…

We have students of all fitness levels, from the beginner to advanced riders. InCycle is a welcoming, encouraging, positive place where people of all fitness levels are encouraged to find their personal best. No competition, just inspiration.

I HAVE HEARD THAT THE BIKE SEAT CAN BE UNCOMFORTABLE…

We know that this happens in the beginning with new riders – don’t give up!! The bike seat and positioning takes some getting used to. After just three or four classes, you will adjust. We also offer super cushy gel seats to ease the transition.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

You can wear any workout gear that’s comfortable for you, but leggings or bike shorts are best (flowy pants might get caught in the pedals). Our bikes have clips (SPD) for cycling shoes on one side of the pedal and cages for sneakers on the other side.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

You will most definitely need water! Bring a water bottle (or you can purchase an InCycle water bottle) and we provide cold filtered water for refills! We also provide towels, motivation, happiness, a great time and rockin music!!!

IS INDOOR CYCLING A GOOD WAY TO BURN CALORIES, LOSE WEIGHT, STRENGTHEN AND TONE?

You really ask some great questions!! And the answer to all the above is YES!!! Indoor cycling creates no stress on the joints, so you get an amazing workout without any pounding on your body. And because we add upper body and core strengthening to every ride, you can burn anywhere from 400-1000+ calories in an hour, depending upon your weight, height and output.

DO I HAVE TO JOIN INCYCLE TO RIDE?

No membership fee here. You pay as you ride. You can purchase our great New Student Intro Offer, a walk-in ride or packages all online or at the studio. To see all the great options,  click here.

WHERE DO I STOW MY STUFF?

We have cubbies for your coats, shoes, purses, etc. An InCycle team member will always be in the reception area so your belongings are never left unattended.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION ONLINE?

We recommend that you do make a reservation online to ensure you get a bike. You can reserve online up to seven days in advance. You can always call us, and if space allows, we will be happy to make a last minute reservation for you. We also have an InCycle iPhone app that makes it really easy! You can also cancel your reservation online if you are not able to make it to your scheduled class. Clients are only charged for a missed class if that particular class is full and your reservation kept another rider from getting a bike. All riders should arrive FIVE MINUTES prior to the start of class, as we will begin giving bikes away to walk-in riders after that time.
