A new study from the Cleveland Clinic has linked cardiorespiratory fitness to living longer, while extreme aerobic fitness provided the greatest benefits. The study found that a sedentary lifestyle is worse for your health than smoking, diabetes and heart disease. Clinic researchers looked at data from more than 122,000 patients who participated in testing between 1991 and 2014. The study followed participants for 23 years and showed that levels of fitness correlated with longer life across all age groups and both sexes. Comparing those with a sedentary lifestyle to the top exercise performers, the risk of premature death was 500% higher!! Fitness leads to longer life, with no limit to the benefit of aerobic exercise. Cardiovascular exercise is the CURE!! RIDE ON!!
